Here is a bit of background information about my work experience. For some examples of the work I’ve been involved with please take a look at the Case Studies page.
Producer at Cogapp
October 2007 – October 2009
Project Management – I was responsible for the smooth running and delivery of my projects at Cogapp. I defined the initial scope of the project with the client, managed the resources in the studio, estimated budgets and forecasts as well as keeping in regular contact with the team at Cogapp and with the client.
Account Management – I managed the accounts for several Cogapp clients including The National Archives, Arthritis Research Council, The Arts Council and TfL. My projects ranged in value from £10,000-£150,000 and took from two weeks to a year to complete depending on scale. I nurtured relationships with clients and was always on the lookout for opportunities for future business.
User Experience – User centered design is at the heart of the Cogapp creative methodology and was included in all of the projects I was involved with. Examples of the user centred disciplines i was involved with included initial requirements gathering exercises with the client followed by (where appropriate) heuristic evaluations, usability testing, card sorting exercises and persona development. I am experienced in instigating and deploying all of these methods of research. Interactive Design – My background in website development has proved invaluable in not only understanding the opportunities and limitations of technologies but also in the creative possibilities available when constructing wireframes and IA for websites.
